Men chased and attacked man out walking his dog

A DOG walker was chased down the street and attacked after an altercation broke out outside a pizza shop in Stockton.

Teesside Crown Court heard how the 37-year-old victim suffered two stab wounds to his leg, but prosecutors were unable to determine how or when the injury occurred.

Four men were initially accused of section 18 wounding with intent but the charges were dropped and all four admitted affray.

On Tuesday, July 29, Darren Hawkes, Chay Ivory-Lewis, Frankie Thompson and Lewis Watt appeared at Teesside Crown Court to be sentenced. Hawkes, 30, also admitted possession of a bladed article and possession of a class C drug in a separate incident.

Watt, 21, also pleaded guilty to possession of a bladed article following an incident separate to the affray.
