'Abusive and erratic' drug addict spat in PC's face

20-YEAR-OLD WAS CAUGHT WITH COCAINE AND CANNABIS
A SOFA-surfing drug addict who was “foaming at the mouth” spat in a police officer’s face.
“Abusive and erratic” Raegan Stewart turned and spat at PC Jones as he was leading her to the police van.
The 20-year-old appeared before Teesside Magistrates' Court for the attack on the emergency worker, along with possession of cannabis which she had “concealed” in her bra, along with a quantity of cocaine.
Prosecutor Lillian Yanes Hellevik outlined that police were called to an “unrelated matter that didn’t result in charge” on April 23 in Stockton.
The court heard that as Stewart was being escorted to a holding room at Cleveland Police Headquar-ters in Middlesbrough a small grip seal bag with white powder was found.
It was later found to be cocaine and she was charged with possess-ing a class A drug.
