From January 1 to September 25, 2025, law enforcement authorities in Central Visayas seized approximately P766 million worth of illegal drugs and arrested nearly 7,000 individuals in a sustained crackdown on narcotics.

According to the Police Regional Office-7, the bulk of the haul consisted of at least 112 kilograms of suspected shabu, with an estimated street value of P761,251,840. In addition, authorities confiscated P3,117,380 worth of marijuana, P1,325,000 worth of cocaine, and P102,000 worth of ecstasy.
