PDP senatorial bets dominate Cebu vote

Senators Christopher “Bong” Go and Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa, both running under PDP, emerged as the top two senatorial candidates in the Island of Cebu during the 2025 national elections.
Based on official data released by ABS-CBN Halalan 2024, their leads underscored the continuing strong hold of former president Rodrigo Duterte's allies in the province, even as national trends show a more varied political preference.
Go amassed at 1,263,830 votes in Cebu, the highest among all senatorial candidates in the province.
Dela Rosa followed with 1,113,351 votes, also securing a comfortable lead over the third placer.
Jimmy Bondoc, another PDP bet, garnered 678,824 votes.
