Capitol-run hospitals get new equipment, medicines

All 16 provincial and district hospitals in Cebu are set to boost their healthcare services as the Capitol rolls out newly purchased medical equipment and medicines, including portable suction units, ECG machines, blood bank refrigerators, digital X-ray machines, dental chairs with X-ray functions, and portable nebulizers.

Also included in the procurement are 10,000 vials of anti-rabies vaccine, which will be distributed to hospitals and treatment centers across the province.
Capitol's public health consultant Dr. Nikki Catalan said the distribution was based on the specific needs of each facility.
