'AVOID DYNASTY IN TICKET DISTRIBUTION': SHAH GIVES ADVICE TO BIHAR BJP LEADERS

During his two-day visit to Bihar, Union Home Minister Amit Shah made it clear in a meeting with the core group leaders of the Bihar BJP that if infighting does not stop, the Mahagathbandhan (Grand Alliance) is bound to gain from their internal rifts.

The announcement of the Bihar Assembly elections is expected in the first week of October. With less than a month and a half left for the elections, the BJP, which had emerged as the largest party in the NDA during the last assembly polls, had then handed over power to Nitish Kumar. This time, however, the BJP not only wants to win power but also aims to have its own Chief Minister.

Though, officially, the party will fight the elections in the name of Nitish Kumar.
