VIBE Back in the flat Earth days, Portugal’s Algarve was believed to be the edge of the world.
The Moors called it Al-Gharb - “the west” - an unforgiving coastline of terracotta cliffs and crags hewn by the merciless Atlantic.
Oceanic battle scars honed the region, on the southwestern tip of the Iberian peninsula, into something exceptionally beautiful.
