Mum's shock as lethal arrow lands in garden

A BIRMINGHAM mum was left terrified after an arrow was fired into her garden and landed on a children's toy.
Joanna Szymczak was on the phone when she heard a 'bang' from the back of her Erdington house on Thursday afternoon and went to investigate.
She was horrified when she discovered an arrow on the plastic base of a kids' tennis swing ball toy, inches from an inflatable pool.
Luckily her five-year-old son and daughter, six, were at school and when her partner arrived home they dialled 999.
