We'll play for badge vow Accies women

HAMILTON ACCIES women's side insist they will be keeping the club badge and name - despite a legal warning that they have no right to use them.

It is understood the newly-promoted top-flight side received a cease-and-desist legal letter late on Friday evening from Hamilton Accies FC.

The women's side have vowed to go forward as an independent body next season following the men's decision to leave New Douglas Park.
