Sixes League fixtures off to flyer at Romiley

ROMILEY Golf Club were superb hosts for the opening fixture of the Golf Sixes League, Stockport.
Melissa Clapham, the Romiley organiser, explained what the league is about and how successful it has become introducing new youngsters into golf.
Melissa said: "Golf Sixes is a fun team-based golf tournament created in 2017.
"The aim is to introduce young golfers to play the game of golf, and get to play on other golf courses as beginners in fun competitions.
"The format consists of children playing six holes in pairs, using Texas Scramble format accumulating points for their team of six.
