A COUPLE from North Lincolnshire who found the holiday home of their dreams with the help of A Place In The Sun have described how strange it felt sitting watching themselves on the TV show - in the apartment they fell in love with.

Philip Hicks and Paula Kirk, of Keadby, asked the Channel 4 programme’s property experts to help them locate a bolthole near Barcelona.

On Wednesday evening (October 22), while viewers in the UK watched host Laura Hamilton taking Philip and Paula around prospective purchases, the couple were also looking in, an hour ahead, right from the apartment they set their hearts on during filming.
