THE 203rd Royal Highland Show will begin tomorrow, attracting an estimated 200,000 people to Ingliston and injecting about £40million into the economy.
On the eve of this year’s event, Royal Bank of Scotland announced it is extending its partnership with the show to 2028 — a tie that began in 1981.
Emma Cowie, RBS’ new associate director for agriculture, stressed the growing importance of agri-tech, saying: “We've already seen such appetite with the success of our partnerships with Tesco and McCain to encourage more farmers to employ sustainable or technology focused approaches.
