Serial sex abuser jailed for targeting women

The court heard how the abuse took place in his home town of Paisley over a number of decades.

He targeted the first victim at a house party in the summer of 1966.

She recalled being in a bedroom with another girl.

Corrigan exposed himself before he and other boys ran off when the youngster screamed.

Prosecutor Eric Robertson: “It was after this that further incidents of sexual behaviour towards her began to take place and escalate.”

This initially included him inappropriately touching her after he grabbed the girl by the arms and threw her into a room.
