From coughs, colds and flu, to accidents on the snow and ice, many of us will need some help from the NHS.If you feel unwell at a time when your GP isn't available, it can be tempting to go to A&E. But that might not be the best place to get treated quickly.

"A&E needs to focus on seeing very sick or seriously injured individuals and prioritising their care," says Liam Shields, an advanced nurse practitioner for the Scottish Ambulance Service.
