Saints star blasts off-field failings that led to latest Accies crisis
Alex Gogic says his heart will always be with Hamilton Accies as he expressed sadness at their current plight.
The St Mirren favourite started his career in Scotland with Accies almost nine years ago.
He made 83 appearances for the club before sealing a move to Hibernian.
But Accies have fallen on hard times due to a string of off-field issues and are in a battle to stay in League One. Deductions totalling 30 points saw them relegated from the Championship last season and put an end to this term's promotion push.
In the summer, the previous regime confirmed home games would be played at Cumbernauld’s Broadwood Stadium in North Lanarkshire after a fallout with the owners of New Douglas Park.
