£360k funding for Engage Renfrewshire

Councillors will this week be asked to rubber-stamp more than £360,000 in grant funding for Engage Renfrewshire for the year ahead-writes Local Democracy Reporter Jack Thomson.

The organisation is the designated third sector interface (TSI) for the local authority area and provides services to support the operation and growth of community and voluntary organisations.
A report is set to go before elected members on Renfrewshire Council's leadership board today, outlining the allocation that has been put together for 2025/26.
The paper, prepared by Laura McIntyre, head of policy and partnerships, explained: “Renfrewshire Council provides grant funding to Engage Renfrewshire to ensure support is provided to third sector and community organisations in Renfrewshire.
