Police can't track down global voyager Yogesh's motorbike

NEW APPEAL AFTER 18-YEAR-OLD MAN IS ARRESTED IN DONCASTER OVER THEFT

POLICE have arrested an 18-year-old man who they believe may have stolen a globetrotter’s motorbike in Nottingham.

But they have been unable to track down the vehicle.

Yogesh Alekari was 15,000 miles into his worldwide travels when he was stopped in his tracks by the theft of his motorcycle in Wollaton Park on August 28.

Yogesh, 33, set off from Mumbai in May on a motorcycle challenge across the world, and had already travelled through China, Russia, Estonia and Germany.

But when he parked in Wollaton Park at around 11am, he returned discover his bike had been stolen. It carried most of his belongings, including his passport - leaving him stranded in the UK.

Nottinghamshire Police now say they have arrested a man who they believe may have stolen Mr Alekari’s bike - but they still can’t track it down.
