Dyche: Poor start but we battled back

HEAD coach Sean Dyche believed his Nottingham Forest side deserved something to show for their efforts as their unbeaten run came to an end against Brighton & Hove Albion yesterday.

The Reds had gone five games without defeat and were on a three-match winning run in all competitions before taking on the Seagulls. But they were unable to maintain that momentum as they lost 2-0 on a frustrating afternoon at the City Ground.

After falling behind to Maxim De Cuyper’s opener just before the break, they pushed for an equaliser in a positive second half.

However, an error from Morato allowed Stefanos Tzimas to make sure of the three points for the visitors in the 88th minute.
