Man arrested after he is talked down from roof

A MAN has been arrested after an hours-long standoff with police while standing on top of an abandoned building in Nottingham.

Officers waited for around two hours in Wigman Road, Bilborough for the individual to climb down on Thursday afternoon.
Police were initially called to a property on the same road after reports of a burglary at around 3.20pm. One suspect was detained at the scene with a backpack containing a money box, while another man was seen fleeing towards Harvey Hadden Sports Centre.
