Jake's happy to be back home - and playing Splendour again

CLIFTON-BORN SINGER-SONGWRITER LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING OLD FRIENDS
NOTTINGHAM'’S own Jake Bugg says “there’s nothing quite like coming back” as he returns to the city to play Splendour 2025.
The Clifton-born singer-songwriter is back for Nottingham’s biggest annual music festival, taking place in Wollaton Park today and tomorrow, having last played 12 years ago when he was only 19.
Part of a jam-packed lineup of artists including Bloc Party and Kaiser Chiefs, Jake’s homecoming takes place as the festival returns after not going ahead last year.
Having since moved to London, Jake, now 31, says he is delighted to be back - and is expecting to see a fair few friends and family in the audience.
“I remember playing the festival when I was very young and it's great to see how much it has grown - I’m very proud to be a part of it,’ the artist said.
