Google brings its 'a' game

BARGAIN PIXEL COULD JUST BE THE BEST BUDGET ANDROID PHONE OUT THERE

IN RECENT years, Google has taken the Apple route with its excellent range of Pixel smartphones there's a pro model, a standard model and a bargain model that comes out a few months later.

Just a few weeks after Apple updated its bargain basement model with the iPhone 16e, Google has followed suit with its Pixel 9a.

The "a" series of Pixel phones has always been a sensational bargain, packing much of the technology from its more expensive siblings into a much more affordable package some six months or so later.

It seems like a strategy that works, because that's exactly what Google has done again this time around.

The company is at something of a disadvantage in its market, though only Apple makes iPhones, but Android phones operate in a much more competitive market.
