HE COULD PLAY FOR THREE LIONS ON HOME TERRITORY
NOTTINGHAM Forest ace Morgan Gibbs-White has been included in Thomas Tuchel's England squad for next month's international fixtures.
The call-up means Gibbs-White could have the opportunity to represent his country at his home stadium. The Three Lions take on Senegal in a friendly at the City Ground on Tuesday, June 10 (7.45pm). Prior to the match on the banks of the Trent, England face Andorra in a World Cup qualifier on Saturday, June 7, to be played in Barcelona.
Gibbs-White was a late call-up to Tuchel's first squad earlier this year but did not get any game time. That snub came after he had made his senior international debut earlier in the season, during Lee Carsley's spell in interim charge.
After the last international camp, national reports claimed Tuchel had made clear to players they needed to be playing and performing at the top level to catch his eye.
It was suggested heading elsewhere could improve Gibbs-White's chances of being considered for the number 10 role with England ahead of next year's World Cup.
