Protect kids from tech's prowling predators

I would add a banjo for a life full of fun and tuning. Although TikTok is high on the list for children and teenagers, it is YouTube that attracts most, with up to 90% of eight to 17-year-olds having used it.

A multifaceted feast of information, entertainment, empowerment, inauthenticity, disinformation, intellectual sedation and nasty algorithms, YouTube is an educational powerhouse for some and an addiction which stifles creativity and original thought for others. It has a habit of feeding the prejudices of the prejudiced. Words like hamster and wheel come to mind.
