POLICE are continuing to appeal for information a week after a serious sexual attack in woods, with a new team leading the “top priority” investigation.

Police were called at 11.53am on Thursday, October 2, following a report that a woman had been attacked by a stranger in Grace Dieu Woods - also known as Thringstone Woods - near Coalville.

The inquiry has identified the offence took place around 11am.
