Popular master brewer dies in blaze at house

A MAN who died in a house fire on Sunday night has been named as master brewer Peter Lyall, who was well respected in the drinks industry.
Mr Lyall, 62, was pronounced dead at the scene after a blaze broke out at his home in Ardcullen estate in Hollyhill, Cork at around 12.45am yesterday.
Firefighters from Anglesea Street and Ballyvolane stations attended at the property.
A woman managed to make her way out of the two storey terraced property.
She was transferred by ambulance to Cork University Hospital. Her injuries are not life threatening in nature.
