Heartbreaking photos of tragic Jota's wedding day

DIOGO Jota's widow has paid a heartbreaking tribute to the Liverpool star on the one-month anniversary of their wedding.

Rute Cardoso, who married Jota just 11 days before his tragic death, posted three pictures from their wedding, including a closeup of the pair holding hands.

She captioned the post: "1 month of our 'until death do us part'. Forever. Your white girl"

The childhood sweethearts, both 28, who have sons Dinis, four, and Duarte, two, and daughter Mafalda, eight months, tied the knot in Porto, in their native Portugal on June 22.
