Old pal Clancy hails Doc's cure for Drogs

TIM CLANCY has hailed his old pal Kevin Doherty for his role in turning around the fortunes at high-flying Drogheda United.
Clancy brought Doherty in as his assistant when he took charge of the Boynesiders in late-2017, and they worked together until Clancy left in December 2021 for St Patrick's Athletic.
Doherty stepped up to take the number one job with United and last year he led the club to Premier Division survival, via the play-offs, and a famous FAI Cup win.
