O'BRIEN KNOWS TOLL OF 'COMMON'MND

FORMER TEAM-MATES BACK MOODY IN HIS BIGGEST BATTLE AGAINST MND

SEAN O'BRIEN stopped in at the house next door when he returned from work at Leinster yesterday.

His neighbour has motor neuron disease, the same illness that former England captain Lewis Moody has announced he is now suffering from.

The rugby world is with 47-year-old Moody. His former Leicester teammate Geordan Murphy is one of those behind the Go Fund Me set up on his behalf.

O'Brien (left) texted Moody yesterday to offer his support. They first met in Las Vegas - O'Brien was on holiday, Moody was at a stag party.

"That's when I got to chat to him first," said O'Brien. "He was a wild man too but a great fella."
