HERE was a new outlaw in Sherwood Forest 40 years ago. The second series of Robin Of Sherwood ended with Michael Praed dying a hero’s death as Robin of Loxley and his fellow outlaws mourning him by firing arrows into the air.
Robin had declared “Nothing’s forgotten, nothing is ever forgotten” and that proved to be the case as a new leader was soon making himself at home in the forest and causing grief for the Sheriff of Nottingham.
