Young mommy opens up after fighting off ex-boyfriend who 'nearly strangled her dood'

A MITCHELLS Plain mother is thankful to be alive after fighting for her life while her now ex-boyfriend of six months allgedly strangled her and also threatened to kill her.

Micha Renge, 21, from Westridge and her 20-year-old boyfriend went to chill at a friend’s house in Rocklands on 21 December, not knowing that hours later on that Sunday night she would be fighting for her life on Mnandi beach.

Micha vertel: “I told him that I have to work on Monday morning so I am not going to overdo it.

“Around 2am, I went to the toilet and when I came out, his friend told me that I should open my eyes because ‘your boyfriend is busy with drugs’.

“When I came out I caught him with a handpyp and saw smoke coming out of his mouth.
