Gavin Mitchell takes his tour on the road talking about his colourful career before and after Clansman pint-pulling fame
HE'S Scotland's most famous telly barman, loved by millions as the pint-puller of Craiglang.
But now Boaby the Barman is set to swap The Clansman for the most famous address on the planet.
Still Game star Gavin Mitchell is leaving cold pies and flat pints for Pennsylvania Avenue, when he takes on the role of America's president.
He will play President John Adams, the second leader of the US, in a new Netflix docu-drama.
Adams, who succeeded George Washington and was followed by Thomas Jefferson, was president from 1797 to 1801.
He was a Founding Father and the first American premier to live in the newly-constructed residence in Washington DC.
Gav said: "It was a really interesting part I play the lead in the first two episodes. It was great - a real mix of comedy, history, drama and romance.
"Adams was a good guy compared to a lot of them.
"He was working class, his best friend was Jefferson, who was upper class and they went from being friends to diametrically opposed enemies.
"They both died on the same day - Independence Day, July 4." It's the latest role in a diverse career the actor - who got into the game without any formal training - is looking back on as part of a one-man show touring Scotland called Look Who It Isnae.
