Council workers preparing for switch-on

THUGS are threatening council workers trying to remove flags from lampposts to put up Christmas lights.

Flags including the Saltire have been hung up in areas of some towns and cities around the country in recent months in response to concerns over immigration.

Aberdeen City Council said flags are being removed from lampposts to ensure festive lights can be installed safely on them.
