New blow for Hamilton as club owners battle to avoid collapse

CRISIS-HIT Hamilton Academical Football Club is at the centre of a sexual harassment and discrimination claim.

The beleaguered club, which has recently undergone an ownership change in a bid to avert administration following mismanagement by the previous regime, has two civil actions being taken against it by former staff.

The Record understands one ex-employee is claiming sexual harassment and sex discrimination and the other is arguing unfair dismissal.

The harassment case includes claims of inappropriate sexual remarks, sexual jokes being made, “spying” over CCTV and intimidating behaviour, all to the detriment of the claimant's mental health, which caused panic attacks.
