Sick air rifle cat attacks increase by 30% in year

THE number of cats being shot with air guns has risen by 30% in the last year, the RSPCA claims.

Catapult attacks on pets and wildlife are also increasing, it said.

Some 70 air rifle incidents were reported to the charity last year, compared to 54 in 2023.
