Doc Martin parish launches plan for affordable homes for locals

The proposal already has support from the area's Liberal Democrat MP Ben Maguire and local celebrity chef Nathan Outlaw.

St Endellion parish has launched the newly-registered Tre Haven Community Land Trust (CLT), which has started negotiations with Cornwall Council to purchase land for affordable housing with mixed commercial development at Glebe Farm, St Endellion, near Port Isaac - the former home of global TV hit Doc Martin.

In February 2022, St Endellion councillor Nicola Williams requested parish funding for a not-for-profit community land trust to build homes for locals.
