Getting in the festive spirit

Bath Christmas Market is back with a bang this year after opening on Thursday.

The market - which see over 250 chalets full of festive goodies pop up around the city centre takes over the centre of Bath for the next few weeks.

The annual event is very important to the city, bringing over £60 million in additional spending to Bath last year. The event also supported over 500 local jobs.

The city centre is a scene of bright lights, festive food and general merriment as tourists from all over the world visit for a little Christmas magic.
