>>Pheu Thai will announce its prime ministerial candidates on Tuesday, with the list including Yodchanan Wongsawat, nephew of Thaksin Shinawatra.
Assoc Prof Yodchanan, 46, is the eldest son of former premier Somchai Wongsawat and Yaowapha Wongsawat, Thaksin's sister. A PhD graduate from the University of Texas at Arlington, he is widely recognised as a researcher specialising in brain-computer interface (BCI) technology.
