Thailand celebrated a historic breakthrough on Monday night as they clinched their first-ever Asean Women’s Futsal Championship title, edging Australia 5-4 in a thrilling final at Terminal21 Hall in Nakhon Ratchasima.

The victory marked a milestone moment for Thai women’s futsal, showcasing their skill and determination.
Captain Darika Peanpailun was the star of the night, delivering a stunning hat-trick in the 31st, 35th and 36th minutes.
Her performance not only turned the tide of the contest but also earned her the accolade of Most Valuable Player of the tournament.
