EC hails 'smooth' advance voting process nationwide

Advance voting to elect members of the House of Representatives mostly went smoothly yesterday across the country, with only a few minor administrative errors, said Sawaeng Boonmee, the secretary-general of the Election Commission (EC).
Mr Sawaeng yesterday reported that 8,610 voters had registered for advance voting within their respective constituencies, while 2.206 million others had registered to vote outside their constituencies.
A total of 1,666 registrations were recorded for people with disabilities and elderly voters.
