Now the industry regulator, the Scottish Social Services Council, (SSSC) has stepped in to place a warning on Michelle Mcculloch’s registration for 24 months.
The incident unfolded on or around August 20, 2024 while Mcculloch was employed by Key Housing Association Ltd as a support worker.
According to the SSSC Mcculloch, while supporting an individual known only as ‘AA,’ an individual that requires one to one support at all times, left them unsupported while she purchased a beach towel in the discount retailer.
