Nine charged in relation to'rioting'

Nine men including a teenager have been arrested and charged in connection with "mobbing and rioting" prior to a Scottish Premiership play-off match last month.
Police were called to an incident on River Street in Ayr at around 7.15pm on Friday, May 9-around half an hour before the second leg of Ayr United's play-off quarter-final against Partick Thistle kicked off.
A police officer was allegedly injured in the disruption which took place in an area about a 15 minute walk away from Ayr United's Somerset Park.
