Modern power grids are essential systems that support the well-being of humans and drive global economic growth. While regular maintenance and upgrades are carried out, ageing grid infrastructures are increasingly vulnerable to extreme weather events, leading to power outages. These disruptions not only endanger the lives and safety of citizens but also threaten the economic stability of nations. As global warming intensifies, there is a growing shift away from reliance on oil and coal for power generation.
