On Thanksgiving Eve, Beyoncé shared a message of “love and gratitude” with her 309 million Instagram followers along with a carousel of pics and videos, most of which featured best bud Kelly Rowland. The “Motivation” singer quickly responded, writing, “How could I love you more! I love you BB. Blessed and grateful beyond.” It’s just the most recent display of the Destiny’s Child singers’ connection. “Bey and I met at rehearsals for [the group] Girl’s Tyme when we were nine,” Rowland, who moved in with the Knowles family two years later, has shared. “We grew up in this industry together... She’s a real friend: genuine, loyal and trustworthy.” Given Beyoncé’s stratospheric solo career, no one could blame Rowland if she were a teensy bit jealous, but she feels nothing but pride for the 35-time Grammy winner. “We talk about everything,” Rowland has said. “We talk about playdates with the kids and we talk about vacations and new opportunities. We both shine together. That's my family.” And the “Halo” singer is still her childhood buddy’s No. 1 fan. After supporting Rowland at the premiere of her 2024 flick Mea Culpa, Beyoncé shared pics from the event on Insta, gushing: “Dats my best friend! Dats my best friend!!!!! So proud of you Kelly.”
