|July - August 2025
Mia by Tanishq, the contemporary fine jewelry brand from the house of Titan, has been steadily carving its niche as the go-to choice for modern, everyday jewelry in India. With over 240 standalone stores across the country, the brand has now taken a significant step in strengthening its retail footprint with the launch of its new flagship store at South Extension, Delhi — a premium, high-potential catchment that has been on the brand's radar for a while.

"It's an iconic store in a very high-potential catchment, and we've been looking to establish our presence here for some time," said Sanjay Bhattacharjee, Retail and Sales Head, Mia by Tanishq.
Steady but Focused Expansion
Mia's growth journey has been one of measured scale and long-term sustainability. Even as the brand continues to see success across the country, it prioritizes quality of presence over sheer store count.
"We currently have over 240 standalone Mia stores across India. While India holds immense potential, our expansion is measured and strategic. We carefully assess each market before entering to ensure long-term sustainability," Bhattacharjee noted. "Our northern region is currently leading in terms of performance. Cities like Delhi and Lucknow have shown strong traction.”
This calculated approach has paid off — Mia recently crossed the Rs 1,000 crore revenue milestone.

The Indian grocery retail landscape is undergoing a quiet but powerful disruption with the rapid rise of private labels. No longer seen as just value-driven alternatives, these labels are reshaping the market with strong consumer loyalty and impressive growth, competing head-on with traditional FMCG leaders.
