Dr Vedam Ramprasad, a distinguished human genetics scientist, is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MedGenome Labs, where he leads pioneering work in genomics to advance early and accurate disease detection and management.
Over the past decade, he has been instrumental in positioning MedGenome as South Asia's largest genomics company, delivering globally benchmarked, affordable diagnostic and research solutions that are reshaping the landscape of precision healthcare.
One of his key contributions has been the expansion of MedGenome's comprehensive portfolio of 1,300+ genetic tests, spanning oncology, inherited disorders, reproductive health, infectious diseases, metabolic conditions, and several rare and complex genetic disorders. Dr Ramprasad believes that India can become a global hub for genomics/multi-omics and give data driven solutions for the world.
