Siddharth (Sid): There are so many things going on in my mind these days.

Avantika (Avani): Do you love me or not?

Sid: At this point, I don’t feel anything, for anyone! I need time.

Avani: I have asked a simple question. Yes or no?

Sid: Please don’t push me, just like I didn’t push you when you were upset. I am not in that state of mind. I need time to think.

Avani: Should I call you?

Sid: No, I will call you when I am in that state of mind. Give me some time.

“Stress is overpowering Siddharth (*name changed),” Avani (*name changed) thought and the best that she could have done back then was to give him considerable amount of time to figure things out for himself. Six months since then, and that time never came. He faded away from the relationship, without citing any explicit reason as to why he doesn’t want to be with her. There was no air cleaning showdown for closure, but only some false hopes to cling onto. Just when she thought everything is fine and going in the right direction, the so called Love of her Life disappeared. Yes, disappeared! The man who was present and always available for her both physically and emotionally was suddenly gone, acting as if nothing ever really existed between the two. From his behaviour, it felt he had signed a ‘No Contact Contract’, where he will not respond to the calls and messages send to him by his once paramour. Shattered, perplexed, amazed, these feelings were tearing her down and became the cause of her perennial discomfort.
