What does the future hold for siblings and lovers Cersei and Jaime Lannister?

From the very first episode of Game of Thrones, the love story between Cersei Lannister and her brother Jaime has been a source of controversy and clamour.
It began with Jaime pushing Bran Stark from a Winterfell tower when the youngster discovered the siblings’ incestuous relationship. Now, as the series nears its end, what will become of Cersei and Jaime, those star-crossed lovers?
In this season, we have seen Jaime leave a pregnant Cersei to arrive at Winterfell to fight the Army of the Dead, causing his furious sister to enlist Bronn to murder Jaime and Tyrion with the same crossbow the latter used to kill their father Tywin.
Since then, Jaime has knighted Brienne, apologised to Bran, and bravely fought the White Walkers. But you didn’t really think he would forego Cersei altogether, did you? This, after all, is the woman who once described their relationship as, ‘More than brother and sister. We are one person in two bodies.’
We spoke to Nikolaj CosterWaldau, 48, who plays Jaime, about what’s in store for the Lannisters and their forbidden love…
Has Jaime really put Cersei behind him?
