The Kalahari has a way of casting its spell on hunters, drawing them back with its vastness, red dunes and stillness. It is a place close to the heart of our hunting editor, Stefan Fouché, who took on the challenge of hunting a lioness on foot there among tall grass and dense bush in wet conditions.
