I must admit, despite the darker days and the drop in temperature, autumn is my favourite time of year. I love the rich colours of the leaves and the thought of coming home on a dark evening and curling up in front of the fire. In this issue we’ve got plenty of ideas to help you make your home a cosy retreat for the months ahead.
As the clocks go back at the end of the month and the nights start to draw in, on page 36 we take a look at the latest looks for lighting to give your rooms a cosy glow, while on page 115 we’ve got all the info you need if you’re thinking of investing in a wood-burner to keep your home toasty over winter. Alfresco dining is a distant memory by now, so as you’re likely to be spending more time indoors, why not perk up your kitchen with a splash of colour? On page 52 we’ve got some great ideas to lift the look of your space without breaking the bank.
