IT'S A FUNNY OLD WORLD 'Dance? I'm too old!
Woman's Weekly
|December 19, 2023 (Double Issue)
I've been acting for 50 years but I've never taken my clothes off until now. I signed up for The Real Full Monty purely because of my beautiful brother, Brett [Hutchinson], who died in April 2020 of a brain tumour.
It's an annual ITV series to encourage people to check themselves for signs of cancer.
A bunch of celebrities tell their stories of cancer, then we have Ashley Banjo of Diversity teach us the dance to You Can Leave Your Hat On, sung by Tom Jones, which is the closing scene from The Full Monty movie.
At the last minute the women take away the hats covering our breasts, while for the men it's down below.
It didn't bother me getting my boobs out. I've hardly got any anyway! I've been topless on the beach and it's no big deal.
I was more worried about showing the tops of my arms - they're not what they used to be. My friend Coleen Nolan is the host of the show and I take my hat off to her- pardon the pun- she also does the dance every year. She's got very big boobs, and if she can do it, so can I.
